Sky Sports confirm 16 Premier League matches for winter lineup

Sky Sports confirm that they will air 16 live Premier League matches during December and the New Year.

Sky Sports have confirmed the 16 live Premier League matches in their schedule for December and the New Year.

The new fixtures will contain clashes between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at White Hart Lane, as well as a London derby at the Emirates Stadium between Arsenal and Chelsea.

Manchester United and Manchester City will also feature in Sky's lineup, and so will Cardiff City, Aston Villa and Sunderland, who will be led by new manager Gus Poyet.

Managing director Barney Francis told Sky's official website: "The great sport keeps on coming for Sky Sports viewers.

"This is our biggest ever season of Premier League football and we're off to a record-breaking start with our audiences well up on last year.

"We are the unrivalled home of the Premier League and viewers are responding really positively to having access to the widest range of must-see fixtures."

Sky will broadcast at least three live games a week during this period.
