Security deny Tiger Woods's tooth was 'knocked out' by camera at skiing event

A security official at the World Cup Alpine skiing event denies that Tiger Woods's tooth was knocked out by a photographer's camera.

Security at the World Cup Alpine skiing event in Italy have reportedly denied that Tiger Woods's tooth was knocked out as a result of a camera hitting his face.

The golfer's agent Mark Steinberg revealed that the former world number one was hit in the mouth by a photographer's camera during a rush to the podium following Lindsey Vonn's historic 63rd win.

Woods was pictured with a tooth missing while congratulating his girlfriend Vonn following the event in Cortina D'Ampezzo.

However, according to the Daily Mail, security general of the organising committee Nicola Colli said: "I was among those who escorted him from the tent to the snowmobile and there was no such incident.

"When he arrived he asked for more security and we rounded up police to look after both him and Lindsey."

Woods and Vonn have been in a relationship since March last year.
