Match of the Day pundit Robbie Savage has taken a six-year-old boy suffering from cancer for a ride in a Ferrari.

Eddy Parry from Derby was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer when he was four, and has undergone 12 operations since then, as well as chemotherapy and 35 blood transfusions.

The former Wales international told The Mirror: "I get hundreds of letters and emails every month from good causes, but Eddy's case touched my heart because no child deserves to go through what he has suffered."

Savage was contacted by Eddy's father, before treating the youngster to a ride in a Ferreri F50.
