Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams marries partner Craig Ham 18 months after the pair met on dating app Tinder.

Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams has married partner Craig Ham 18 months after she met him on dating app Tinder.

The 32-year-old, who won gold in the skeleton bob event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, matched with the soldier on the app, where users match with each other based on liking images.

Just 12 weeks after the couple met they were engaged, and recently they tied the knot at St Nicholas's Church in Williams's home village of Bathampton in Bath.

"After two weeks together it was like, 'this is it'," Williams told Hello! magazine. "I was thinking about the awesome days in my life and realised a wedding day tops everything."

Williams's husband works as a warrant officer class two (AQMS) with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
