Gary Neville named FSF's Pundit of the Year for second successive year

Gary Neville is named Pundit of the Year by the Football Supporters' Federation for a second successive year.

Sky Sports' football expert Gary Neville has been named Pundit of the Year by the Football Supporters' Federation for the second year in a row.

The former Manchester United captain moved into television punditry back in 2011, just months after calling an end to his professional playing career.

Neville was announced as the winner of FSF's award at a ceremony last night, but the 39-year-old was not present to accept the gong.

Instead, the ex-England international gave his thanks via a video message, and added: "I never see myself as a pundit. I think pundits now are what they're called, but they should all be coaches in the way that they go about their work.

"You, the fans, are very knowledgable - you want more detail, and I'm glad you've enjoyed my work over the last 12 months."

Neville, who also works within England's coaching staff, carries out his Sky Sports duties alongside former Liverpool rival Jamie Carragher.
