Gary Lineker reportedly removes a tweet joking about Boris Becker's alleged affairs.

Former England international and BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker has sparked controversy by joking about former tennis star Boris Becker's alleged affairs.

The 52-year-old was making reference to Becker's infidelity following the withdrawal of seven players from Wednesday's play at Wimbledon due to various injuries.

According to the Daily Mail, Lineker wrote on Twitter: "There hasn't been this many withdrawals on a single day Wimbledon since @TheBorisBecker frequented Nobu #BoomBoom."

The ex-footballer has since deleted the tweet.
