One of the individuals involved in allegedly trying to steal British boxer Amir Khan's car has released a video claiming that the Bolton-born fighter will get "smashed up" if he sets foot in Birmingham.

The 25-year-old is believed to have knocked out a yob trying to steal his Range Rover with five others while on a night out with his younger brother Haroon.

In the video, a masked man jangles a pair of keys and a wallet, which was reportedly stolen from the car, and says: "You are not welcome in Birmingham, you bitch. Every time you come to Birmingham you are going to get fucking smashed up."

Reports have claimed that Khan has consulted his lawyers regarding the video.
