Olympic diver Tom Daley has admitted that he finds it amusing when people say that he is gay.

The 19-year-old, who won a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games, has been the subject of rumours once again after he was voted the world's sexiest man in gay magazine Attitude.

"I think it's funny when people say I'm gay, I laugh it off," Daley told The Mirror. "I'm not, but even if I was, I wouldn't be ashamed.

"It wouldn't bother me in the slightest what people thought, but I can understand why I have a massive gay following. I spend most of my life half naked in trunks on a diving board showing off my bare chest."

The teenager, who has signed up for a second series of diving reality television show Splash!, has been promoting the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Scotland.
