BT Sport inks a deal to screen 30 games a season from the Conference Premier.

BT Sport has picked up the rights to show live games from the Football Conference next season.

The two-year deal will see BT broadcast 25 games from the Conference Premier across the season, as well as both legs of the playoff semis and the playoff final from Wembley.

"We are not just interested in the glamour of the Premier League; we'd like to bring the excitement and grit of the Conference Premier to a new audience, as well as its existing strong fanbase," said Simon Green, head of BT Sport. "There are some terrific clubs in the Conference Premier and some fantastic stories and characters, which we aim to develop in our coverage."

BT Sport launches in August with a portfolio including the Premier League, the FA Cup, SPL, Europa League, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1.

The rights to screen games from the Conference were previously held by subscription channel Premier Sports.
