Popstar Justin Bieber reportedly ran to the aid of boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr's children after they were involved in a car accident in Los Angeles.

The Canadian singer, who has appeared ringside during a number of Mayweather's fights, is said to have driven to the scene after speaking with the boxer on the phone.

Mayweather was attending the BET Awards in LA when the collision, which is believed to have involved several cars and a motorcycle, took place.

According to TMZ, Bieber comforted the three children by playing some of his new music and took them to Mayweather before returning to the scene to inform police that the youngsters were with their father.

Reports have claimed that none of the children was seriously injured.
