Video: Rio Ferdinand re-enacts 2006 header against Liverpool by jumping off boat

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand re-enacts his 2006 injury-time header against Liverpool while on holiday in Greece.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has re-enacted a 90th-minute header that he scored against Liverpool in 2006.

The ex-England international shared a video of himself leaping off a boat and recreating the motion that resulted in a late 1-0 win over United's arch rivals at Old Trafford.

This time, though, instead of celebrating in front of the Stretford End, the 36-year-old jumped into the sea during a family holiday in Greece.

Ferdinand, who spent 12 years playing for United, retired from football at the end of last season following a single campaign at Queens Park Rangers.
