Southampton left-back Luke Shaw reportedly 'favourites' a tweet linking him with a move to Manchester United before removing it.

Southampton left-back Luke Shaw has added fuel to the fire by 'favouriting' a post on Twitter linking him with a move to Manchester United.

Reports have emerged this week claiming that the North-West outfit are in pole position to land the £30m-rated player.

According to ESPN's Alex Shaw, the England international 'favourited' a tweet from a fellow user reading: "Hope you sign for mufc, we are all excited, good luck."

The 18-year-old, who has also been linked to Chelsea and Manchester City, appears to have removed the tweet from his 'favourites' section.
