A number of Manchester United players chose to travel to a nightclub in a taxi decorated in Manchester City colours.

The Red Devils celebrated into the early hours of Tuesday morning after clinching the Premier League title with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

Around 2am, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Anderson were spotted entering a cab painted in their rivals' blue colours, carrying the club's crest.

"It's the only one in the city decked out in sky blue," cab owner Derek Izzit told The Sun. "Maybe they were taking the mick, or in a rush."

Reports have claimed that the majority of United players stayed out in the city until six in the morning.
