Manchester United store 'run out of letter 'R' for Angel di Maria shirts'

The Manchester United superstore reportedly runs out of 'R' letters to print on fans' shirts ahead of Angel di Maria's arrival.

Manchester United fans were unable to have Angel di Maria printed on their shirts yesterday after the club's superstore reportedly ran out of the letter 'R'.

The former Premier League champions are poised to announce the arrival of the Argentina international from Real Madrid for a British record fee of £59.7m.

However, if fans wanted to get the 26-year-old's name on the back of their United top yesterday, they had to wait after the club put a sign outside the store stating that there were no more 'R's left in black print, according to the Daily Mail.

Di Maria is expected to undergo a medical with United today before completing the move.
