Manchester United clash could disrupt live 'Coronation Street' episode

ITV producers are reportedly concerned that noise from Manchester United's Capital One Cup match will affect tonight's live Coronation Street episode.

Manchester United's Capital One Cup match against Ipswich Town is in danger of disrupting tonight's live episode of Coronation Street.

ITV is celebrating the channel's 60th anniversary by running a live episode of the soap at 7.30pm at Trafford Wharf studios, which is under a mile away from United's home turf.

According to The Mirror, producers are concerned that cheering from Old Trafford during tonight's third-round tie will be heard during the show's broadcast.

United's match against Championship opposition will get underway at 7.45pm.
