Ryan Giggs's dad insists "spoilt" son "needs to take responsibility" for affair

Ryan Giggs's father Danny Wilson calls on the Manchester United star to repair his relationship with the family following his alleged affair with his brother's wife.

Ryan Giggs's father Danny Wilson has called on his "spoilt" son to "take responsibility" for allegedly having an eight-year affair with his brother Rhodri's wife.

Wilson has insisted that the Manchester United star needs to try to repair his relationship with his brother, who is believed to be seeking a divorce from wife Natasha.

"Ryan has been spoilt," Wilson told The Sun. "He is surrounded by yes men who have clearly given him bad advice. That is why he behaves in the way that he does. You can't knock him for his career — what he has done on the field is amazing.

"He is my son. The door is always open. But he needs to take responsibility for what he did to his brother and his brother's family. Then pick up the phone."

Wilson, who had surgery for prostate cancer last week, has revealed that he has not spoken to his son for 12 months.
