Manchester United fan 'switches allegiances to Liverpool'

A Manchester United fan reportedly decides to switch his allegiances to Liverpool due to United's dismal season.

A Manchester United supporter has reportedly given up on the Red Devils and opted to switch allegiances to his "boyhood" club Liverpool.

An alleged Facebook post written by Peter from Womersh, Surrey has done the rounds online, with the football fan claiming that he is fed up with the "lack of effort" at Old Trafford.

United are currently six points adrift of their arch rivals Liverpool in the Premier League table having lost seven games so far this season.

Peter has claimed that "switching back was a no brainer and quite an easy choice", in an online post published by 101greatgoals.com.

The fan, who does not expect United to revive their season, appears in his profile picture wearing a Liverpool shirt.
