Olympic champion Usain Bolt has revealed that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has told him that he wants him to play football in the future.

The Jamaican sprinter has been open about his desire to move into the English game and represent his favourite team, who are currently at the top of the Premier League table.

"He wants me to play and said let's talk about it over dinner next time you are here," The Sun quotes Bolt as saying.

"He is a man of culture and offered to take me some place fancy. I told him Nando's would be just fine."

Bolt won three gold medals at the Olympic Games in London last summer.
