A young pitch invader was able to take a selfie with Frank Lampard during Manchester City's Capital One Cup clash against Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night.

The supporter made his way onto the Etihad Stadium turf minutes before the final whistle in City's 7-0 victory over their Championship opponents.

The fan hugged Lampard and took a photo of the pair with his phone before he was led away by security, according to the Daily Mail.

Lampard, who left Chelsea in the summer, scored twice in the encounter.
