Manchester City's sponsors Etihad Airways take a playful jibe at Manchester United by showing the players travelling in a City cab.

Manchester City's sponsors Etihad Airways have taken a playful swipe at Manchester United through an advert in the local press.

A number of United stars, including Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, were spotted travelling in a taxi decked out in City colours on the night that the Red Devils clinched their 20th league title.

Following the players' celebrations, Etihad Airways took out an advert in the Manchester Evening News displaying a photo with the caption: "Congratulations Manchester United. You deserve to go home in style."

Meanwhile, City manager Roberto Mancini has admitted that United are worthy champions.
