Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina stars as a Roman soldier in a Spanish short film.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has temporarily switched from football to acting by starring in a Spanish short film.

The 30-year-old plays a Roman soldier in Invictus, el correo del Cesar, directed by BAFTA award-winning Javier Fesser.

Reina's international teammates David Villa, Xavi, Jordi Alba and Cesc Fabregas were in attendance at the premiere in Madrid on Monday.
