Liverpool have announced that they have agreed a new sponsorship deal with US-based brand Gatorade.
The Merseyside outfit have named the brand as their official sports nutrition partner by signing a three-year deal with the company.
"Gatorade is a leading sports nutrition brand worldwide and we are thrilled to be partnering with them as they continue establishing a dominant position in world football," Liverpool's chief commercial officer Billy Hogan told the club's official website.
"Gatorade's products have powered the world's greatest athletes in all areas of sport for over 40 years and we look forward to working with them through the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season and beyond."
As part of the deal, the backroom staff of the Premier League outfit will have access to the Gatorade Sports Science Institute's laboratory and testing facilities.
