Football fans reportedly start a petition to get Luis Suarez on the next series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here following his biting scandal.

A number of football fans have reportedly called for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to be a contestant for the next series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The 27-year-old was sent home from the World Cup in Brazil after he bit the shoulder of Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's 1-0 win over Italy last week.

According to the Daily Star, supporters have started a petition to get the controversial striker on the show to take on bushtucker trials in the Australian jungle.

A source told the newspaper: "I'm A Celebrity could do wonders for him and his image. Of course he will be picked on for trials."

ITV are yet to finalise their lineup for the new series, which will air later this year.
