Football Against Racism in Europe executive director Piara Powar has admitted that he is baffled by the antics of three Leicester City players who filmed themselves having an orgy with three women in Thailand.

The footage of James Pearson, who is the son of Leicester manager Nigel, Tom Hopper and goalkeeper Adam Smith, all of whom are under the age of 25, was leaked by The Mirror at the weekend.

In the video, racist language including "slit eye" is used to describe one of the Thai women, while another was labelled "fucking minging - an absolute one out of 10" while she performed a sex act.

The incident occurred while the players were in Thailand, which is the base of the club's owners, during an end-of-season tour.

"There is no point in pretending videos like this aren't made and shared all the time, but the arrogance of doing it while on a goodwill trip to the country of your owners, the people paying your salaries, is mind-blowing," the Daily Star quotes Powar as saying.

"The fact that they are Premier League footballers, and one of them is the manager's son, means that there is a responsibility to behave. I hear Nigel Pearson takes a strong stance against discrimination."

The three players later apologised for their antics in a statement via the Premier League club, which confirmed that the trio had been sent home.
