Los Angeles Galaxy star David Beckham has signed up with Breitling to become the face of their Transocean Chronograph Unitime worldtimer watch.

The Swiss brand have released promotional photos of the 37-year-old wearing one of their pieces standing in front of a private jet on the runway of the Mojave Air and Space Port in California.

"I've always been a long-time admirer of Breitling," said Beckham. "As a company they create not only the highest-performance watches but also timeless designs that have inspired generations. It was a natural choice for me to partner with this fantastic brand."

American actor John Travolta has previously been part of Breitling's campaigns.
