India's Virat Kohli sorry for outburst at journalist

India vice-captain Virat Kohli apologises following an outburst at a journalist during a training session at the Cricket World Cup.

India's ODI vice-captain Virat Kohli has had to apologise to a journalist following an outburst at the Cricket World Cup.

The 26-year-old reportedly shouted at a Hindustan Times reporter without provocation following a training session earlier this week.

A spokesman for the team said: "There was a misunderstanding and no abusive language was used. Virat has spoken to the concerned gentlemen immediately and [the] matter ends."

The Indian media claims that Kohli mistook the journalist for a reporter that wrote about his personal life, before sending another journalist over to apologise on his behalf once he realised his error.
