Extra trains to and from Hull announced for FA Cup final

Train operators announce that they will provide extra services for Hull City fans on the day of the FA Cup final.

First Hull Trains and East Coast Trains have both announced that they will be running extra services on the day of the FA Cup final to allow Hull City fans to attend the match.

The Tigers beat Sheffield United at Wembley at the weekend, setting up a final against Arsenal next month, which will kick off at 5pm.

The operators will be running extra trains with more carriages, including a later departure from the capital to Hull.

The original timetable had the last train leaving for Hull at 8pm, which would have left supporters stuck if extra time and penalties were needed.
