England cricket, Wimbledon fall silent for victims of 7/7 terrorist bombings

The England cricket team and tennis players at Wimbledon observe a minute's silence for the victims of the 7/7 terrorist bombings.

The England cricket team, as well as tennis players at Wimbledon, this morning observed a minute's silence for the victims who died in the terrorist bombings in London on July 7, 2005.

Fifty-two people were killed when suicide bombers detonated devices on three Underground trains and a bus in central London.

At 11.30am, the England cricket team and coaches gathered in a circle at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff to pay tribute to the victims, while players at Wimbledon stopped on the practice courts to remember.

Spectators at the All England Club also respected the minute's silence ahead of today's play.
