A collection of CSKA Moscow fans reportedly fought with Italian police during last night's Champions League group defeat to Roma.

Trouble among the fans marred last night's Champions League encounter between Roma and CSKA Moscow in Italy.

The Serie A side stormed to a 5-1 victory over their Russian opponents in the first round of Group E fixtures.

However, scenes from the crowd have made headlines after the travelling supporters physically clashed with Italian police, according to 101greatgoals.com.

Cameras also picked up footage of CSKA Moscow fans throwing flares, which some Roma supporters reportedly opted to throw back.
