Eusebio passes away: Twitter reacts

Former and present footballers take to Twitter to pay their respects to Eusebio, who died during the early hours this morning.

The footballing world awoke this morning to the news that former Portuguese footballer Eusebio had passed away.

The 71-year-old spent the majority of his career with Benfica, where he won a host of titles, as well as being named the European Footballer of the Year in 1965.

As is so often the case when a legend dies, players past and present have taken to Twitter to pay their respects. Below, Sports Mole has picked out some of what has been said.
