Living in London too expensive for Barnet player

Barnet midfielder Dan Bradley quits the club after just too months because he could not afford to live in London.

Barnet player Dan Bradley has been forced to quit the club, claiming that he cannot afford to live in London.

The 25-year-old joined the Conference Premier side from Alfreton earlier this summer.

The midfielder told the Non League Paper: "I was under the impression I'd be allowed to stay down there two or three night a week in a B&B or one of their houses, and on my day off I could come home.

"I've got commitments back here with my house so I couldn't afford to just up sticks and leave. Two or three weeks before pre-season Barnet got in touch and said they expected me to move down there permanently. That's where the problems started.

"I want to apologise to everyone at Barnet and the fans because maybe I rushed into it."

Bradley did not feature in their two pre-season friendlies.
