Barcelona defender Dani Alves says that he and teammate Neymar disguise themselves when visiting restaurants in the city.

Barcelona defender Dani Alves has revealed that he and teammate Neymar sometimes disguise themselves to avoid being spotted in and around the city.

Alves said that his Brazil international teammate has settled into life in Spain well, but claimed that they sometimes take unusual measures to avoid being recognised by the general public.

"Occasionally, we have to go in disguise so that the public don't recognise us at the door [of restaurants]," Alves told Globoesporte.

"Neymar likes to eat well and happily, we live in a city which has very good cuisine.

"He has already been to a few restaurants which I recommended to him although some of them are difficult to go to because they are so popular."

Barcelona are currently top of La Liga.
