Sky Sports News presenters moved quickly to apologise after Sky Germany reporter Chris Lymberopoulos swore on live television this afternoon.
While speaking about Arsenal and Germany defender Per Mertesacker, the journalist said, "you call him the big fucking German here", referring to the description given to the player by Gunners fans.
After the swear word was aired, presenter Adam Leventhal, who was working alongside Hayley McQueen, apologised for any offence caused to the viewers.
