Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger attends the British Film Institute's inaugural fundraising gala dinner with his wife Annie in central London.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger decided to leave his work commitments behind for the evening to attend the British Film Institute's inaugural fundraising gala dinner.

The Frenchman was spotted walking down the red carpet of the event in central London with his wife Annie, who was among a number of celebrity guests, including actors Damian Lewis and Sienna Miller.

Guests were invited to bid on auction items that ranged from John Travolta's signed suit from the film Face/Off to the Formula 1 replica car from Rush, according to the Daily Mail.

Wenger's visit to the gala came after he was named the manager of the month for September.
