Turkish delight for Enes Erkan in men's +84kg kumite at European Games

Enes Erkan of Turkey wins the men's kumite +84kg gold-medal final to take his country's medal tally up to 10 at the European Games in Baku.

Turkey's Enes Erkan has added European Games gold to his World Championships success of last year by beating Jonathan Horne in this afternoon's men's kumite +84kg final.

The 18-year-old beat his German opponent 2-1 in the gold-medal face-off in Baku to reign supreme, just like he did last November in Bremen.

Meanwhile, Republic of Macedonia's Martin Nestorovski saw off the challenge of Slobodan Bitevic to scoop bronze at Crystal Hall with a resounding 9-0 success.

Turkey now have three gold medals at this year's Games, which is second only to hosts Azerbaijan's five.
