Dominant Australia claim fifth men's hockey gold

Australia beat India 4-0 to win their fifth gold medal in the Commonwealth Games men's hockey competition.

Australia have continued their domination of the Commonwealth Games men's hockey competition by winning gold against India.

The Kookaburras made light work of their opponents to follow up their World Cup win and secure their fifth Games gold with a 4-0 victory.

Chris Ciriello converted three penalty corners at the National Hockey Centre, while Eddie Ockenden also found the target for Australia.

Earlier today England edged out New Zealand on penalties, following a 3-3 draw, to complete the podium.
