World number 180 Peter Uihlein leads at the halfway stage of the Shenzhen International after shooting a second-round 68.

Peter Uihlein has opened up a one-shot lead at the midway stage of the Shenzhen International.

The world number 180 recorded five birdies during a second-round 68 to edge in front of Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who hit a three-under-par round of 69.

Four players, including England's Matt Ford, sit three shots adrift of the leader, while Tommy Fleetwood and Matteo Manassero occupy a top-10 place after solid rounds on Friday.

A round of 74 from Bubba Watson has seen the American fall down to 42nd position, but Nicolas Colsaerts didn't make the weekend after a five-over-par round of 77.
