Julien Quesne moves into lead in China

World number 217 Julien Quesne moves into a one-shot lead at the halfway stage of the China Open.

Frenchman Julien Quesne has recorded a second-round 67 to move into the lead at the midway point of the China Open.

The world number 217 hit six birdies to top the standings ahead of compatriot Alexander Levy and American Peter Uihlein, who sit a shot back on seven-under-par.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who won in Shenzhen last week, is one of five players who are three shots adrift, while first-round leader David Howell is in 10th place.

However, England's Tommy Fleetwood, the highest-ranked player in the tournament, has missed the cut after shooting 76 on Friday.
