United States lead by five in Ohio

The United States team lead the Internationals by five points in the Presidents Cup, which looks likely to finish on Monday due to weather delays in Ohio.

United States have built a commanding five-point lead over the Internationals at the end of a hectic third day of the Presidents Cup at Muirfield Village Golf Club.

Another weather delay in Ohio means that the tournament is still not back on schedule following Friday's adverse conditions, which prevented four foursomes matches to be left over from day two.

In the end, the points were shared three apiece in the session, but the second set of fourballs ended 4-1 in favour of the Americans.

Two more points were added to the total before darkness ended play, leaving the score 11.5 to 6.5, although Nike Price's men are up in two of the three foursomes to be completed tomorrow.
