Tiger Woods relishing US PGA Championship after Ohio win

Tiger Woods says that he feels confident ahead of the US PGA Championship this week following his victory at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

Tiger Woods has insisted that he is ready to launch a challenge at the US PGA Championship later this week following his victory in Ohio.

The American pro will head into the final major of the season with the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational title under his belt following a seven-shot win.

"I feel like my game is pretty consistent," BBC Sport quotes Woods as saying.

"I have hit it pretty good most of the year and putted well and been able to win. I'm really looking forward to this week."

Woods has not won a Major title in over five years.
