Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat tops the Malaysian Open leaderboard, while Luke Donald sits two over par following a weather-affected first round.

Thunderstorms have halted the opening round of the Malaysian Open, which will resume tomorrow morning.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat managed to complete his round by taking the clubhouse lead with a seven-under 65 for the day, while Denmark's Anders Hansen sits one shot off the pace along with Edoardo Molinari, Gregory Bourdy and Scott Jamieson.

World number three Luke Donald completed round one shooting a 74 and heads into the second round two over par following three bogeys and one double bogey on the second.

Players who were unable to finish their round will continue tomorrow morning.
