World number one Rory McIlroy is delighted with his triumph at the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday.

The 23-year-old recorded a one-shot victory over Louis Oosthuizen and finished on 20-under-par overall, while Tiger Woods came third on 18-under.

"That was more survival on that last few holes," said McIlroy. "I didn't finish off the way I would have liked, but I got there in the end.

"I'm very happy with my third win of the year which puts me in a great position for the next few weeks."

McIlroy's triumph at the Deutsche Bank Championship was his third PGA Tour success this year, following wins at the Honda Classic and the PGA Championship.
