Guan Tiang-lang to become youngest golfer on European tour

Chinese teenager Guan Tiang-lang is set to become the youngest player to compete on the European tour at aged 13.

Guan Tiang-lang has been paired with British golfer Oliver Fisher as the Chinese teenager prepares to become the youngest competitor in European tour history.

The 13-year-old came through qualifying to earn a spot in his home tournament and the youngster is already setting himself a big target.

Tiang-lang said: "I really couldn't be happier.

"I'm so excited right now, it is like a dream come true.

"My goal now is to be the youngest player ever to make the cut in a European Tour event, and I think if I can shoot level par or better I'll have a good chance to do that."

Tian-lang is the current World Junior champion.
