At The Turn: Jamie Donaldson, Lee Westwood edge ahead

Jamie Donaldson and Lee Westwood lead Matt Kuchar and Zach Johnson by one shot in Saturday afternoon's foursomes at the Ryder Cup.

The American pairing got off to the perfect start when Johnson chipped in on the first but Europe responded immediately to get back to level after two holes.

After the third was shared, USA retook a slender lead but Donaldson's approach on the fifth was within a foot and that earned the European duo a share of the match after five.

Kuchar and Johnson weren't firing on all cylinders and Europe established a one-shot lead after seven holes but Kuchar struck back on the eighth to get the teams back on equal terms once again.

On the ninth, Westwood's approach left Donaldson with a six-footer for birdie, and the Welshman made no mistake to see his side into the lead.
