Daniil Kvyat has claimed that action and not words from Renault will help Red Bull catch up with Formula 1's pace-setters.
The Milton Keynes-based constructor has struggled for pace in the early part of the season, which has led to a public row between Renault and Red Bull over recent weeks.
However, Kvyat believes that both the engine supplier and the team need to focus on improving reliability and performance.
He is quoted by Autosport as saying: "I think we don't want any promises, we just want to see the progress itself. Both as a team and on the engine side, we all want to improve.
"That means working with Renault, working with the chassis, me as well, working out where I can pick up the pace.
"It is a long process and hopefully we will come up with something."
Red Bull finished second to Mercedes in the 2014 constructors' championship.
