Lotus Renault send a peculiar picture tweet to confirm that Kimi Raikkonen will join Ferrari next season.

Lotus Renault have reacted to the departure of Kimi Raikkonen by sending an unusual tweet to announce the Finn's exit.

Since Felipe Massa announced yesterday that he would no longer be driving for the Italian team, Raikkonen was the stand-out name to replace the Brazilian.

His return was confirmed this morning when Lotus sent the below tweet.


Raikkonen was the last person to win a world title for Ferrari six years ago during his first stint with the team.
