York City striker Matt Jarvis misses out on tonight's League Two game against Chesterfield with an ankle injury.

York City are without Ryan Jarvis, the striker currently nursing an ankle injury, but fellow forward Ryan Bowman is in the starting XI for this evening's League Two clash against Chesterfield.

Midfielder Ryan Montrose begins a two-match ban after picking up his 10th booking of the season in the Minstermen's last fixture, away at Hartlepool United.

Chesterfield, who will go top of the table if they win tonight, welcome back striker Marc Richards after a one-game suspension.

Full-back Drew Talbot remains sidelined, so Tendayi Darikwa continues in his place.
