Scunthorpe United hand a rare start to Christian Ribeiro as they travel to York City in League Two this evening.

Scunthorpe United have handed a rare start to Christian Ribeiro, who replaces Jimmy Spencer as the Irons travel to York City in League Two this evening.

The visitors have also decided to start Matt Sparrow to replace Terry Hawkridge, while striker Chris Iwelumo has to settle for a place on the bench as he recovers from an ankle injury.

The home side are without defender David McGurk as Danny Parslow and youngster Ben Davies start in defence, with Wes Fletcher and Ryan Bowman being deployed in attack
