Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Steven Fletcher is expected to turn down a move to Sunderland.
The Scot is thought to have attracted interest from other Premier League clubs after he scored 12 goals for relegated Wolves last season.
However, the 25-year-old has told his representatives that he does not want to make the switch to the Stadium of Light, according to the Daily Mail.
Fletcher moved to Molineux from Burnley in 2010 for £7m.
