Steve Morgan wants quick Wolverhampton Wanderers return

Wolves owner Steve Morgan hopes that the club can gain promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Wolverhampton Wanderers owner Steve Morgan has insisted that the club will look to gain promotion back to the Premier League as soon as possible.

The Midlands side ended their three-year stay in the top flight last month with a defeat by Manchester City.

However, Morgan believes that Wolves have the resources to come back stronger.

"The one thing about Wolves is that we're in great financial health and we will have a very good treasure chest when it comes to the playing side," he said.

"There will be changes - some players will come, some players will go but that will be with one thing in mind and that's to get back up.

"We have to put a poor season behind us, get back to winning ways and get back to the Premier League."

The Wanderers finish their campaign on Sunday when they travel to Wigan Athletic.
